Class Descriptions

Your First Rodeo

If this will be your first birth, this is the series for you. In seven classes we cover everything you need to prepare for your birth, baby, and postpartum. You learn everything you do and do not want to know about pushing, coping strategies, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and participate in a labor rehearsal in the birth suites with a doula.

We recommend you start this class around 26-30 weeks. Cost is $350 if it is not part of your birthing package. Call reception if you have questions.

Old Pros

This two-part class is great for couples that have been there and done that and previously had a baby outside the hospital. We focus on coping strategies and the labor rehearsal.

This two-part class can be taken at any point during pregnancy, but we generally recommend taking it in your third trimester. Cost is $100/family.

If you desire any other classes offered in “First Rodeo” we can make that happen. Cost is $50 per class.

Something Between

If this is not your first delivery, but it is your first birth center or home birth, this class is a great fit. These four(five if your’e a vbac mama) classes includes: postpartum planning, coping strategies, and a labor rehearsal in the birth suites with a doula.

We recommend you start class around 28-32 weeks. Cost is $250/family.

If you desire any other classes offered in “First Rodeo” we can make that happen. Cost is $50 per class.
