Which Classes Should I Take?

Your First Rodeo

If this will be your first birth, we recommend all seven classes in the series, starting around 28-30 weeks. Cost covers a pregnant person and their labor support person. Please let us know if you have more than one labor support person who needs to attend class with you. Contact Origins for questions on price.

Old Pros

If you have previously had a baby outside the hospital, we recommend popping in for Classes 3 and 4 (Loving Labor and the Labor Rehearsal).

The Old Pro series can be taken at any point during pregnancy, but we recommend taking it in your third trimester. Cost covers a pregnant person and their labor support person. Please let us know if you have more than one labor support person who needs to attend class with you. Contact Origins for questions on price.

Something In Between

If you have a previous hospital delivery, but this is your first birth center/home birth we recommend taking Classes 1 – 4 (Welcome to the Neighborhood, Labor GPS, Loving Labor, and Labor Rehearsal). Some people choose to attend Class 5 (Push It Real Good).

We recommend you start class around 30-32 weeks. Cost covers a pregnant person and their labor support person. Please let us know if you have more than one labor support person who needs to attend class with you. Contact Origins for questions on price.

***Every class is taught as a seven class series. For Old Pros and Something In Between you’ll pop into the classes within a series that best fit your educational needs. This allows a collaborative experience, bringing first time parents and seasoned parents together.***
